How to hide Doors and Windows in Floor Plan View?

Issue Description

I'm trying to create a Wall Setting Out Plan where both Doors and Windows do not need to be shown. Is there a way to hide these elements for a specific View?

Solution

You can control the Display options of Doors and Windows through the Model View Options. To hide Doors and Windows:

1. Go to Document > Model View > Model View Options.
2. Create a New Model View Combination since this view is only for a specific plan. In the model View Options, select New
3. In the Construction Element Options, set the Door, Window, Skylight, and Opening section to Hide on Floor Plan. Click OK to save.
4. Create a new View where the Model View Options in the View Settings are set to the one created in the previous step.
