Issue description
Older Archicad versions (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21) cannot be installed or uninstalled.
Solution
Install the correct Java Version for installation or uninstallation
The installation and uninstallation of certain Graphisoft products, such as Archicad versions 8 to 21, can often be blocked by newer, older, or faulty Java versions. The appropriate Java version needs to be downloaded from the Graphisoft website.
Once the correct Java version is installed, the installation or uninstallation can proceed.
TIP: After successfully installing or uninstalling Graphisoft products, it is best to update Java to the latest version.
Starting with Archicad 22, Java is no longer required for the installation of Archicad.
