Demolition Elements Cannot Be Displayed Together with New Construction Elements

Issue Description

In views and/or sections, when using the Demolition/New Construction settings, only elements with the New Construction status are displayed, while Demolition elements are not shown.

Solution

Add Required Demolition Elements in 2D

Demolition elements must be manually added using 2D tools such as lines, polylines, fills, etc., in views and/or sections.

1. Duplicate the View Marker in the Floor Plan to create a second view.
2. Set the Renovation Filter of this second view to Demolition, so only the demolition elements are displayed.
3. In the View Settings, change the status to 2D Drawing.
4. Copy the relevant 2D content (demolition lines/fills) from this view and paste it into the main view.
5. It is recommended to group these elements and place them on a separate layer for better organization.

Archicad assumes that demolished areas are automatically replaced with corresponding New Construction elements. For example, if a section of a wall is demolished, that area is automatically filled with a new wall.

Since New Construction elements take priority over Demolition elements, only the New Construction is displayed in views and sections.
