How to place sunshade on the Curtain Wall

Description

How do you place an accessory, such as a sunshade, on your curtain wall?

Solution

1. Select the Curtain Wall in the 3D window and click the Edit button.

   

2. In 3D Edit Mode, activate the Accessory Tool and open the Accessory settings to define the type of element (e.g., sunshade).

   

3. Click on a profile or endpoint of the curtain wall, then draw the accessory by clicking to set its start and end points.
4. After the second click, use the eye cursor to specify the opening direction.

Notes:

• When an accessory component is selected in edit mode, the Accessory Selection Settings can be opened and modified.
• The accessory can be moved to a different profile (only in 3D edit mode).
• It can be mirrored to the opposite side of the facade.
• The accessory component can be deleted.
