How can I check if reference lines are connected in the project?

Issue description

Placing a zone gives the error “No closed polygon found”. Is there an easy way to check whether walls are properly connected?

Solution

Walls are connected if their reference lines intersect with each other.  
To help visualize wall connections, you can set up a dedicated quality assurance view. This view allows you to easily inspect whether wall reference lines are correctly connected by identifying any gaps. 

Create the view: 

1. Create a layer combination where all elements are hidden except for the Walls.
2. Create a Model View Option where construction elements such as door, window, skylight and openings are set as Hidden.

3. Activate True Line Weight. This can be accessed in View > On-Screen View Options > True Line Weight.

4. Create a Graphic Override for Walls to set the outlines shown with a lighter color and having air space fill. Also, Make sure to turn on “Override pen color and thickness”.

  5. Activate reference lines for walls and beam. Go to View > On-Screen View Options > Wall & Beam Reference Lines
