Issue description
When attempting to place zones in my project, one room comes back with a message stating, “No closed polygon found around the clicked point.” The zone cannot be placed automatically.
Solution
This issue generally arises when the zone tool cannot detect a fully enclosed area. There are instances when the room is seemingly closed by walls but their reference lines are not connected resulting in an incomplete polygon.
- Check wall connections: Ensure that wall reference lines are intersecting properly to form a closed perimeter.
- Confirm renovation status: Make sure the walls' renovation status is set to "Existing" or "New."
