Issue description
Our project recently has changed its footprint shape. I need to have the same types of elements for the reflected ceiling plan but on a different path. How can I move these fixtures in such a way that they are equally distributed on the new path?
Solution
Archicad has a command for special cases like this. To distribute different types of elements along a specified path:
- Select the elements that need to be moved.
- Go to Edit > Distribute > Special Distribute
- In the Distribute Window,
- Select Bounding Box Anchor (Center) in the Distribute with Elements section.
- Select the Distribute Input. On this case, we already have a line path so I will select “Click an Existing Edge”. Click OK.
- Click on the line to distribute the selected elements.
