Issue description
I am trying to create a schedule that displays the top surface area of slab elements classified under Uniclass SL_90 (general spaces), alongside slabs classified under Uniclass SL_45 (residential spaces).
The goal is to show just these two categories in a single schedule, but I am encountering difficulties in either filtering or organizing the data properly to display the desired results.
Solution
To create a schedule in Archicad that shows the top surface area of slab elements classified under Uniclass SL_90 (general spaces) and SL_45 (residential spaces), follow these steps:
1. Classify the slabs: Ensure that all the slab elements are properly classified with the correct Uniclass codes (SL_90 for general spaces and SL_45 for residential spaces).
- Select a slab element.
- Go to Properties and Classification in the info box or the Element Settings dialog.
- Under the Classification section, assign the appropriate Uniclass classification.
2. Create a schedule
- Go to Document > Schedules and Lists > Schedules > Element Schedules.
- Create a new schedule by clicking the New button.
- Choose Slab as the element type for the schedule.
3. Set the criteria
- Classification - Uniclass contains SL_90 or SL_45.
This will ensure that only slabs with those classifications are included in the schedule.
4. Add relevant fields
In the schedule fields dialog:
- Click Add Fields
- Add a Sum by option for the Surface Area so that areas are summed up
If you would like to compress the schedule further you can merge identical fields.
