Issue description
This article explains how to create a plan in which Door and Window markers are concealed. Manually modifying the settings for each Door and Window can be time-intensive. Below, we present a more efficient method to toggle these markers on and off.
Solution
To manage Door and Window markers use the Model View Options (MVO). These options will allow you to hide or show the markers, without having to modify each element individually.
Steps to hide door and window markers using Model View Options:
In your Floor Plan View, navigate Document > Model View > Model View Options.
In the Model View Options window, select New to create a new Model View Options combination.
Under the Construction Element Options tab, locate the checkboxes for Door and Window Markers.
Uncheck the checkboxes for both Doors and Windows to hide their markers. Click OK to save.
Open the View Map in the Navigator > View Map section.
Save the current view by ensuring the Model View Options are configured to Without Markers. Once confirmed, click Create.
By following these steps, you can quickly switch between views that display markers and those that don’t, improving your workflow efficiency when presenting different types of floor plans.
