Issue Description
Archicad elements with a Renovation status applied occasionally do not display in the project.
Solution
In Archicad, elements with a Renovation Status applied may not appear in the project due to specific renovation filter settings. Here are a few reasons and solutions for when elements with a renovation status are not showing:
Renovation Filter Settings:
The renovation filter controls how existing, new, and demolished elements are displayed.
- Go to Document > Renovation > Renovation Filter Options and check that:
- Elements with a Demolition status are set to Show if you want to display them.
Renovation Status of Elements:
- Check you have correctly applied the renovation status of the elements by selecting them and verifying if they are marked as Existing, New, or Demolition.
Layer Visibility:
- Make sure the layer containing the elements is visible. Even if the renovation status is set correctly, elements won’t display if their layer is turned off.
View Settings:
- In some cases, elements with a renovation status might not show in specific views (such as a section or elevation) based on view settings.
- Check if the current view settings are compatible with the renovation filter in use.
By adjusting these settings, you should be able to control the visibility of elements with different renovation statuses.
