Issue Description
You notice that the cut fills of composites or complex profiles are not displaying correctly on plan views in Archicad.
Common examples of this are when waterproofing membrane fills disappear (becoming all solid or all blank), or when diagonal masonry fills become distorted, in walls that are not perpendicular to the viewpoint's X-axis.
Solution
To resolve these issues, follow these steps:
- Go to Options > Element Attributes... > Building Materials...
- Locate the material you would like to adjust and expand the Structure and Appearance tab.
- Next to Fill Orientation choose the option Element Origin.
- Click OK.
This adjustment ensures that cut fills display correctly regardless of wall orientation. After changing this setting, cut fills should display properly on plans and sections.
