Issue Description
In Archicad, section viewpoints may show unnecessary stories or areas that are not relevant to the current design focus. This can clutter the view and make it difficult to analyze specific parts of the building.
Solution
To limit your section view to show only specific stories in Archicad, you can follow these steps:
1. Limit the Section's Vertical Range
-
In the Section Settings, expand the General Tab.
-
Set the Vertical Range to Limited.
-
Adjust the Top Story and Bottom Story options under the Section Range to specify which stories should be included in the section view.
2. Use Layer Settings
-
You can also control which elements are visible on specific views by using Layer Combinations.
-
Make sure the relevant layers are visible for the stories you want to show.
By setting the appropriate ranges, you can ensure that your sections only show the relevant areas of your building for a more accurate and focused representation of the project.
