You have a set of specifications you would like to incorporate into your template to be able to use with the Label tool.
Solution
If you prefer not to use third-party software, you can create a list of Specifications as Archicad Properties. Labels that are associated to elements will read the name and value of these properties.
1. Create the clause property (click to expand)
Go to Options> Property Manager and click on New.. to create a new group.
Now create a New Property in this Group.
Set the Value to Tags List and type the clause code into the Value box.
2. Set the classification (click to expand)
Setting the classification will determine which elements the info can be used with. If you are unsure select ALL.
3. Pre-set the label (click to expand)
Select the Classification and Properties Label. Edit the content to read correctly for your desired output, either Name and Value or simply just the Name or just the Value. Select OK.
Open the Label Tool and select the AutoText Label and again select OK.
4. Placing the label (click to expand)
Select the element that you wish to label. Select the Autotext option and select your Clause.
The label will now place and contain either the Name and Value or simply just the Name or just the Value depending on your selection.
Using the Archicad Property Manager is beneficial because it allows you to manage and update properties from a single, centralized source. This ensures that any changes made to properties are automatically reflected throughout the project, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all elements and views.
