How to remove the drawing placement grid on export to PDF

Issue description 

To streamline your workflow, you've started using the drawing placement grid in Archicad. However, the issue arises when exporting your layouts to PDF: the grid, which is intended as a visual aid, is also being exported and showing up in the final PDF output, which is undesirable.

Solution

To remove the drawing placement grid for layout sheets when exporting to PDF in Archicad, follow these steps:

1. Open the master layout.
2. Click on the the Settings... button at the bottom of the navigator.
3. In the Drawing Placement tab click on Setup Grid...
4. Under Grid line Display select Hide All.
