Issue description
I have an object that I would like to incorporate into my project. While it is almost suitable, I would like to make a few minor adjustments. I am unsure if these changes can be made without any scripting knowledge.
Solution
Convert the object to a Morph.
To convert an Archicad object into a morph, follow these steps:
1. Select the Object:
-
- Open your project in Archicad.
- Navigate to the object you want to convert.
- Select the object by clicking on it.
2. Convert to Morph:
-
- Right-click to open the context menu.
- Select Convert Selection to Morph from the options. Alternatively, go to Design > Convert Selection to Morph.
3. Edit the Morph (Optional):
-
- Once converted, the object becomes a Morph element. You can now edit it using Morph editing tools such as resizing, reshaping, or manipulating vertices and edges.
4. Save Changes:
-
- After making your desired adjustments, select the Morph.
- Go to File > Libraries and Objects > Save Selection as > Object.
This will store the Morph as an object to retain its new form.
This process will allow you to treat the object as a morph, making it more flexible for further modifications.
