Description
I have created a Site Plan for a resort project. I wanted to make all the landscape elements belong to one layer. Every time I select all elements of different types - Slab, Wall, Object, and Railing, then change their layer using the Info box, only one of these element types will process the change. Is there a way to change them all at once?
Solution
You can change layers of different element types at once through the Edit Selection Set. To do this:
- Select all the elements you want to change. Go to Edit > Element Settings > Edit Selection Set. You can also access this using the keyboard shortcut Option+Command+T on macOS and Ctrl+Shift+T on Windows.
- In the Edit Selection Set, go to the Layers tab, then select the correct layer. Click OK.
Inside the Element Selection Settings, you can also see the number of selected / available elements. You can also change their renovation status all at once by using this tool.
