Description
The floor plan incorporates a number of slanted walls, each with a distinct angle of inclination. While some of the walls appear aesthetically pleasing on the plan, others appear distorted and encroach upon areas that should be included on the plan. Are there alternative methods of displaying the slanted walls?
Solution
There are multiple methods to present the slanted wall in plan view using the Floor Plan Display setting:
Projected
This Floor Plan Display option displays the slanted wall from the Floor Plan Cut Plane Height down to the current story elements.
Projected with Overhead
This option will present the overall slanted wall range. It will display the walls as the Projected option from the Floor Plan Cut Plane Height to below the current story Elements, but displays the wall sections above the cut plane in dashed lines.
Cut Only
This setting will only show the cut section of the slanted wall based on Floor Plan Cut Plane Height.
Outline Only
This option will display the range of the slanted wall without finishes and materials.
Overhead all
This option will display the same as way as Cut Only. Showing the outline of the slanted wall in dashed lines, without finishes or materials.
