Removing templates from the drop down list

I have been working on reiterations of our office template.  Now on start up, I have a list of past templates showing.   How do I remove these from the drop-down list?  I've already tried cleaning preferences and using the New & Reset All option, but they still appear in the list.

Solution

This can only be done by deleting the registry entry.

Warning: Editing the Windows Registry can affect system and application behavior. Proceed with caution, and back up your registry first.

1. Close Archicad completely.
2. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog; type REGEDIT and press Enter.
3. In the Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > Graphisoft > Archicad.
4. Locate the folder of the current version you are using and expand it (ex. Archicad 2X.0.0.0).
5. Click on the Recent templates folder and on the right panel, right-click on the target template entries and select Delete. Confirm your choice (consult Graphisoft documentation if uncertain).
6. Close the Registry Editor and reopen Archicad. The template list should be cleared.
