Description
I am creating an Object with the Library Part Maker tool. It looks good on plan as the hotspots are located in the correct places but in 3D view, the hotspots seem a bit off of the Object.
Solution
When adding a new Component in the Library Part Maker tool, place the Hotspots in the corners of your objects and the Level Dimension marker should be in the middle of the lower segment
Why is it important to place the Hotspots and the Level Dimension maker as mentioned above? Placing the Level Dimension marker at the center of the object will give you wrong placement of Hotspots as shown below
As a good practice, inside the Morph Selection Settings, under the Geometry and Positioning tab, set the Project Zero level to “0”.
TIP: When working with Library Part Maker, please keep in mind the story level of your object should always be on level 0.00 as the Level Dimension Marker will not read Levels correctly, meaning the hotspots in 3D view will show levels that are different from the Object.
