Issue description:
I am trying to add Zones to my project, but every time I use it, a pop-up window appears asking to choose another layer or to turn on layer visibility. I always make sure that, prior to creating the Zone, the layer associated with it is not hidden and not locked. How to fix this issue?
Solution:
The pop-up window is not coming up because of an issue about the Zone; instead, it is related to the Label. Since Archicad 25, the Zone tool has an automatic Label associated with it, which can be turned on/off manually.
The Label used here adapts the settings of the Label selected from the Favorites, meaning all properties, including layers, are applied.
You can choose the appropriate label tool using the Favorites button next to it.
If this option is enabled, make sure that the Label tool layer is active and not locked.
