Description
When you run the Open and Repair function in Archicad, it attempts to identify and fix issues within the project file. However, the specifics of what elements have been repaired or removed are not always directly visible.
Solution
Follow the steps below to use this feature:
- Launch Archicad.
- When the Archicad home screen appears, choose Browse Project...
- Alternatively, go to File > Open > Open...
- Turn on the Open & Repair Selected File checkbox in the lower-left corner of the dialog.
- Choose the file you want to open and click Open.
To identify repaired/removed elements:
- Save the repaired file as a copy to check elements that have been removed or changed.
- Create a schedule of element IDs and compare to see if elements have been removed.
