Issue Description
In Archicad, when you run the "Open and Repair" function, it attempts to identify and fix issues within the project file. However, the specifics of what elements have been repaired or removed are not always directly visible.
Solution
Launch Archicad:
- Start the Archicad application from the desktop shortcut, dock, start menu, or application folder.
Open a Project:
- When the Start Archicad dialog appears, choose Open a Project, then select Browse for a Solo Project and click Browse.
- Alternatively, go to File>Open>Open
Select the File:
- Navigate to the file location and click on the file ONLY ONCE so that it is highlighted.
Enable Open and Repair:
- Check the "Open & Repair Selected File" checkbox in the lower right corner of the dialog.
Open the File:
- Open the file and wait for the process to complete.
TIP: to check elements that have been removed or changed
- A Report will be generated if elements have been deleted or effected by the repair process.
- Save a before and after file and compare the two.
- Create a schedule of element IDs and compare to see if elements have been removed.
