Issue description
The trace and reference overlay and the drawing onto which it is overlaid are not aligned and are placed offset from each other.
Solution
The Trace Reference is a temporary editing aid linked to the currently active window. It will be positioned alongside, on top of, or underneath the active content, depending on what's being traced.
If you need to reposition the trace reference to make comparing the views easier, you can use the three buttons marked below in the trace reference palette.
To open the palette: Window > Palettes > Trace Reference Palette.
