How to assign License to a Group?

Before utilizing the floating cloud license, it is essential to assign it to a specific group within the company. Once assigned, group members with designated Graphisoft ID accounts can reserve and activate the associated products. This system allows for the easy transfer of licenses within the group, ensuring optimal use of resources.

Steps to Assign a License to a Group

1. Open the Licenses Tab
   Navigate to the Licenses tab and select Cloud Licenses.

2. Change the Assignee
   Click on the 'Change Assignee' button and switch to the Groups tab.

3. Select a Group
   Choose the appropriate group and specify the number of licenses to be assigned.

4. Confirm the Assignment
   The license is now assigned to the selected group, making it available for group members to reserve and activate. 

Below the selected group, options to unassign or modify the assignment are available.

Additional License Management Options

• Revoke License: This option is accessible through the filter options 'Show by Members' or 'Show by Groups,' allowing you to revoke licenses as necessary.
• Reassign Licenses: Use this feature to assign additional licenses or introduce new types of licenses to the group.
• Assign Licenses from Group Details: Alternatively, you can assign a license by opening the group details and selecting the 'Assign Licenses' option.

Choose the product and the number of licenses to be assigned.

This new floating license feature enhances flexibility and efficiency in managing software licenses within your organization, ensuring that your team has the necessary tools readily available.
