Description

There are instances where the Drawing unit values do not reflect the unit as displayed on the Schedule for unexpected reasons. For example, the Schedule values display the correct unit as feet & decimal inches, but the Drawing is set to meters and millimeters. Things like this happen sometimes, especially working on various projects that have different Working Units preferences. How can we revert the Drawing and Schedule to share the same unit value?

Solution

• Go to Options and click Project Preferences.
• On the Project Preferences prompt, set the Unit to feet & decimal inches and click OK.

• On the Layout, right click on the Drawing and click Modify source View Settings then set the Dimensioning to feet & decimal inches then click OK. Note: This method could affect other Views that are properly arranged with a template so please keep an eye out. 

On the Layout, right click on the Drawing and click Update to reflect the changes as preferred.
