1. Check the Exported IFC in an IFC Viewer:

• • Verify the exported IFC file using an IFC viewer. Avoid using Archicad for verification, as the IFC model is converted during import, making verification inaccurate.
  • Recommended free IFC viewer: Solibri Anywhere.
  • Note: In some IFC viewers, the grid may need to be made visible separately.

2. Verify Grid Visibility in Archicad:

• • Ensure the following:
    • The Layer of the Grid is turned ON.
    • The Renovation Filter that the Grid belongs to is set to SHOWN.
    • The Design Option that the Grid belongs to is set to SHOWN.

3. Check Grid Element Selection Settings for 3D View:

• • Confirm the option “Display in 3D” is activated.
  • Under “Grid Line,” ensure the option “Show as Line” is activated.
