Issue Description
Every new version of Archicad brings a range of updates and features. However, even with the latest Archicad version installed, opening an old template file might cause these new features to be missing in the defined work environment.
Solution
Work Environment Imported from an Older Archicad Version
If you’re using the latest Archicad version but have imported a work environment profile from an older version, the new features may not appear. This occurs because the latest functionalities, such as Design Options introduced in Archicad 27, are not included in the work environment profiles from Archicad 26 or earlier.
To bring back the missing features:
- Go to Options > Work Environment > Apply Profile.
- Select the default work environment profile for the current version, such as Profile Architecture 27.
Note: Customized work environments need to be recreated for each new Archicad version based on the current work environment. This ensures that all new features are displayed and functional within the program.
