Issue description
After installing Enscape, it may not appear automatically inside Archicad. This article explains how to enable Enscape and verify that the plugin loaded correctly.
Solution
Once the Enscape installer has finished, restart your Operating System. Enscape should appear as a dedicated menu bar entry between Window and Help menus. Clicking this displays all available Enscape features.
The Enscape palette (called the Enscape Toolbar) can alternatively be displayed as a docked or floating toolbar by going to Window > Palettes > Enscape (scroll to bottom).
If you don't find a reference to Enscape in Archicad’s menus or toolbars, the installation may be incomplete or corrupted. In this case, you can reinstall Enscape by following these steps:
- Completely uninstall Enscape (on Mac using Terminal).
- Reboot your computer.
- Run the Enscape installer again.
Additional installation procedure on Mac
If Enscape does not show up in the Options > Add-On Manager list of available Add-ons, you may need to locate it manually by pressing the Add... button, navigating to Macintosh HD > Library > Chaos > Enscape > Enscape.Archicad.Plugin.Host-net10.0, and choosing Enscape.Archicad.Plugin.Host29.bundle (or ...Host28, 27, depending on the used Archicad version)
For detailed plugin configuration steps and supported platforms see the Enscape help article, First Steps.
