Issue description
I checked my version number and it looks like I need to update Archicad.
Solution
For regular updates and hotfixes:
- Launch the Archicad application on your computer.

Check for updates: Go to the Help menu on Windows or Archicad menu on Mac. an select Check for Updates... Archicad will automatically connect to the Graphisoft server to see if any updates are available.
- If an update is found, a dialog box will provide a link or button to download it. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the update.
- Alternatively, you may be directed to the Graphisoft Downloads page, where you can download the latest updates manually.
- After the download is complete, run the update installer, and follow the installation prompts to complete the update process.
For major version upgrades:
- Go to the Graphisoft website and navigate to Downloads under Plans & Products or Learn & Support menus.
- Find the latest major version of Archicad available for your license type.
- Click on the appropriate version and download the installer. Make sure to check for any compatibility notes or system requirements.
- Run the installer and follow the instructions provided.
- You may need to uninstall the previous version before installing the new one, depending on the update process and your system setup.
- After installation, you might need to reactivate or update your Archicad license. Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to your Graphisoft license manager for guidance.
