Issue Description
You created a U turn or winding staircase and the corner landings do not have the number of steps you need, or the steps are not being arranged when placing the stair. You might have even changed the turning type from Automatic to Winder and the change did not reflect in the model.
Solution
When dealing with a winding landing of a turning staircase in Archicad, adjusting the number of steps involves a few steps. Let’s break it down:
1. Select the Stair you want to modify.
2. Click on the nodes of one of the landings, and in the pet palette, look for the Turning Type Options.
Or, in the Stair settings click on the icon Turning Type Options.
4. Change the Division Method to Fixed Number of Goings, and type of number of steps that you need.
5. Click OK.
TIP: Within the Turning Type Options, redefine the settings to Apply changes to the entire stair to modify all the landings of the Stair consistently.
