Sometimes you need to get dimensions in place quickly.
Solution
Automatic Dimensions is a feature that quickly provides both internal and exterior dimensions.
Use this function to add automatic associative linear dimensions to selected walls or curtain walls on the floor plan.
1. On the Floor Plan, select the walls or curtain walls to be dimensioned.
Navigate to Document > Annotation > Automatic Dimensioning > Exterior Dimensioning. Configure the desired options, then click OK.
TIP: Even if the tool places too many dimensions it could be better to place and delete what is not needed.
