Issue description
Elements in your Archicad project may become difficult to select if the Quick Selection feature is accidentally turned off. This article explains how to identify the issue and restore normal selection behavior.
Solution
The magnet icon in the Arrow tool controls the Quick Selection feature. If this icon is turned off, surface-based selection becomes unavailable.
- When the magnet icon is turned off, you must hover over lines, edges, or nodes to select an element.
- When it is turned on, you can select elements normally with a single click.
