Issue Description
No sun shadows are visible in the 3D view.
Solution
To allow shadows to display correctly in 3D make sure to enable Sun Shadows and adjust Sunlight intensity. You can follow the steps below to guide you in the process:
To Enable Sun Shadows in the 3D Style settings:
- Open the settings via View > 3D view options > 3D styles…
- Within the 3D Styles menu expand the Shadows subheading.
- Check the box next to Sun Shadows to activate them.
Increase Sun light intensity If needed:
Go to View > 3D View Options > 3D Projection Settings.
Click on the Sunlight button.
Within the Sunlight settings dialog, you can change the sunlight intensity value through a slider.
With 0% Sunlight intensity, the sun shadows will not be on the model, with another value greater than 0%, it will show.
Additional Information: Sun Shadows can be controlled in Sections and Elevations from their Model Appearance Settings.
