Why are Zones not showing in my Section views.

Issue description

Zones are visible on the floor plan but do not appear in Elevation or Section views.

Solution

Check the following common causes.

Project Preferences

1. Go to Options > Project Preferences > Legacy.

2. Uncheck Hide Zones and their associated Labels on Section-type views.

   

3. Open your Elevation and Section views and verify that Zones are visible.
   
   

Layer Combinations

1. Identify the Layer assigned to your Zones.
2. Go to Document > Layers > Layers (Model Views).
3. Select the Layer Combination used by your Elevation/Section views.
4. Find the Zone's layer and set its visibility to Show (eye icon).
5. Click Update to save the Layer Combination.

Renovation Filter

If a Zone’s Renovation Status is To Be Demolished, the active filter may hide Zones.

1. Open the Renovation Filter Settings dialog.
2. Under Additional Filter Options > Elements to be Demolished,
3. Uncheck Hide Zone.
