Issue Description
A 2D Tree object is placed from the Archicad Library. It is visible in a floor plan ciew and in 3D, but in Sections and Elevations it appears as a black/blank rectangle.
Solution
- Create a Layer to show Tree symbols on Floor Plan/3D Views.
- Create another Layer to use for Tree symbols in Elevations/Sections.
- Create a Layer Combination to be used for the Elevations/Sections only.
- In this combination Change the status of the Layer to Hide the Floorplan/3D View Symbols.
- Open your Section or Elevation view and apply this new Layer Combination.
- Stay in this view and activate the Object Tool
- In the Object Settings dialogue select one of the Tree Library parts and from the settings go to Deciduous Tree Settings > 2D Representation.
- Under View type expand the list and choose Side View or Symbolic Side View
- Pick a Symbol Type as required
- Change the Layer of the Tree element to 'Elevation/Section'.
- Place your Tree symbol on the Elevation/Section View.
