Issue Description
You place a 2D Tree object from the Archicad Library. It's visible in a floorplan View and in 3D but for Sections and Elevations appears as a black/blank rectangle.
Solution
1. Create a Layer to place Tree Symbols on for the Floorplans/3D Views.
2. Create a new Layer to place Tree symbols in Elevations/Sections.
3. Now Create a Layer Combination to be used for the Elevations/Sections views only.
In this combination Change the status of the Layer to Hide the Floorplan/3D View Symbols.
4. Open your Section or Elevation View and Apply this new Layer Combination.
5. Stay in this view and activate the Object Tool.
- In the Object Settings dialogue select one of the Tree Library parts and from the settings go to Deciduous Tree Settings > 2D Representation.
- Under View type expand the list and choose Side View or Symbolic Side View
6. Pick a Symbol Type.
7. Change the Layer of the element to 'Elevation/Section'.
8. Place your Tree symbol on the Elevation/Section View.
