Import Point Cloud is grayed out

Issue Description

You want to import a Point Cloud into your project, but after going to File > Interoperability you notice the command Import Point Clouds... is unavailable.

Solution

This occurs when trying to import the Point Cloud to the project from a Section, Elevation, Worksheet, Schedule, or 3D Document; it is possible to import Point Clouds from a Floorplan  or a 3D view only.

1. Open a Story View or a 3D View.
2. Go to File > Interoperability.
3. The command  Import Point Clouds... will be available now.
