Issue description
When modeling roofs with different pitches in a project, the same roof cover fill may be applied to all of them. Depending on design preference, it is possible to adjust the cover fills either to visually represent the pitch differences between roofs or to make the fills align seamlessly across all plan views.
Solution
- Open the Roof Settings dialogue
- Navigate to Floorplan and Section > Cover Fills > Cover Fill Orientation
- Choose one of the following Cover Fill Orientation options, depending on your desired outcome:
- Link to Roof Pitch with Distortion, if you want your 2D Drawings to visually represent the pitch differences. The fill origin will link to each roof pitch, and the fill pattern will adjust to match the inclination of the roof plane.
Link to Roof Pitch, if you want the cover fills to follow the roof pitch orientation but remain seamlessly aligned across connected roof planes.
