Adding a Hotlink Module to a Design Option

Issue Description

You try to add a Hotlinked Module to a Design Option with the Relink button from the Design Options Palette, this function is not available. Even if you are able to Relink some elements of the module from the floorplan, not all the elements from the Module are picked up when selecting it, even if Suspend Groups is not active.

Solution

Creating a Design Option Combination and adding Design Options we can Relink a Hotlink following these steps:

1. Select the Hotlink Module you want to Relink
2. Right click > Hotlink Selection Settings...                                                                                                                                                   
3. Expand the Design Options section in the new window
4. Under Choose Option Status for Placed Hotlink select Place into an Option
5. Click on the Main Model button, and you will be able to browse your Design Option Sets and select the Design Option you want to link the Module to
6. Click on Choose
7. Click Ok
