Issue description
After adding a handle or knob to a Window or Door, we might notice that they are correctly displayed on 2D views but nowhere to be found in the 3D window. It might even be possible that the handle/knob is missing in both 2D and 3D
Solution
This is due to a setting in the Model View Options, and inconsistency in the project's Model View Options Combinations.
- Go to Document > Model View > Model View Options... or Open the Model View Options Window by clicking in the icon at the bottom of the Archicad Workspace.
OR
- Expand the Section 'Miscellaneous Settings for Library Parts'
- Under Accessories in 3D you will see 3 Icons representing objects Knobs, Taps, and Door/Window Handles from left to right.
- Click on the Knob icon to activate it. It will be highlighted in blue and with a checkmark.
- Click OK to close the window and save your settings.
Note: You can create different Model View Options Combinations to apply in your Views from the View Settings, depending on the level of detail you need to show either in 3D or 2D plans.
