Issue Description
lf we receive survey information on a project after we start modelling, we might face some issues when correcting survey coordinates or story levels and updating elevation markers. If we want to consider the Sea Level as Project Zero and consider Story Levels with this Altitude, it can be possible to Drag the model in the Z direction from the 3D window and then use the Story Editing Mode.
Solution
We can edit the elevation of any given story or set of stories using Story Editing Mode:
Go to Design > Edit Story Levels, or the same command from the context menu that appears by right-clicking inside the Section window.
The Story Editing Mode Palette will appear on the screen. Note that as long as the palette remains active on screen, you are in Story Editing mode and can drag the Story Level Lines.
3. Choose a mode from this palette by clicking one of the four buttons, which do the following commands from left to right:
- Adjust only the selected story
- Adjust the selected story and all stories below
- Adjust the selected story and all stories above
- Adjust all stories (This is the one we want to use)
Move the cursor onto the Story Level Line you wish to move. The cursor will change symbol. Click and drag the story level to the desired elevation.
Click OK to apply changes and exit Story Editing Mode.
Note: Associative Elevation Markers will be updated too.
