Issue description
It might happen that we have a saved View, placed on a Layout, and we need to make some changes to the View's appearance. But when we go to the Layout or go back to the saved View after working on another window, the changes we made have disappeared.
Solution
You make sure that your saved Views retain the settings you define for them in the following ways:
- Once you make the desired changes, make sure to right click on your saved View (in the View Map) and select the option Redefine with Current Window Settings
Or
- Edit the View directly from the View Settings window. Right Click > View Settings
Note: We can make sure that the View displays correctly on the Layout by updating the placed drawings. Go to the Layout and right click on drawing > Update
