Issue description
If you encounter any of the following problems:
You can't launch the Archicad installer
Archicad fails to open
You encounter slowness or bugs in Archicad
You can't run your license managers
Antivirus software may be the cause. To avoid these problems, we invite you to exclude Archicad from your antivirus software by following the steps below.
Solution
Windows
Close all open Archicad instances.
Open your antivirus software.
Go to the Folder Exclusion Zone, also called Trust Zone.
Add the following folders to the exclusion list:
C:\Program Files\Graphisoft C:\Users\<username>\Graphisoft C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Graphisoft C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Graphisoft C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Maxon C:\ProgramData\Graphisoft C:\ProgramData\ArchicadGo to Trusted Applications or Authorized Applications and add the following:
C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\<Archicad version>\Archicad.exe C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\<Archicad version>\Archicad Starter.exe C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\<Archicad version>\curl.exe C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\<Archicad version>\Cineware\Cineware.exeRestart Archicad.
macOS
Close all open Archicad instances.
Open your antivirus software.
Go to the Folder Exclusion Zone, also called Trust Zone.
Add the following folders to the exclusion list:
~/Applications/Graphisoft ~/Users/<username>/Library/Applications support/Graphisoft ~/Users/<username>/Library/Caches/Graphisoft ~/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/GraphisoftGo to Trusted Applications or Authorized Applications and add
