Issue description
If you are familiar with railing edit mode, you might find that you can't modify a handrail in the beginning. Or you might wonder overall: how do you stretch a handrail?
Solution
To stretch handrails or move segments in the railing, you have to activate Edit Mode.
- Select Railing.
Click on Edit to enter Edit Mode.
- Select the railing again while in Edit Mode, Right-click > Create Independent Segments and Nodes.
You will now be able to select the handrail independently. You can stretch or contract the rail by clicking on one of its nodes.
