Issue Description
It is a common scenario that we want to show a slab, mesh, or object in a view other than their home story. We can edit their visibility by story in the corresponding element settings, but if we want to change the appearance of its lines in the floorplans to be dotted or solid depending on the story we are in, we have to modify some project preferences.
Solution
As an example we will use a slab.
To make the Slab visible in other stories:
Select the Slab and open the Settings Dialog.
Under Floorplan and Section go to Show on Stories > Home & One Story Up& Down (or whichever option you prefer).
The options to change the Slab's Line Type can be found here:
Options Menu > Project Preferences > Legacy.
There you can change the line type for 'Above Home story' and/or 'Below Home Story" accordingly.
