Door / window schedule doesn’t show corresponding zone names.

Door-zone detection problems result from improper zone boundary alignment or mismatched element properties. Several specific conditions must be met for doors to correctly associate with zones in schedules. Have a look at these settings to resolve the issue:

Check Zone Construction Method

1. Select the problematic zone
2. Open Zone Settings
3. In the Info Box, verify the construction method is set to Inner Edge or Reference Line

Verify Wall Reference Line Connections

1. Go to View > On-Screen View Options > Walls & Beams Reference Lines
   
2. Check that wall reference lines form a complete closed polygon
3. Ensure wall reference lines intersect properly at corners
4. Look for gaps in the reference line connections that prevent zone boundary recognition

1. Select the door, wall, and zone elements
2. Verify all three elements have matching Renovation Status (Existing, Demolished, or New)
3. Go to Window > Palettes > Renovation to check and adjust renovation statuses
   
4. Use Design > Update Zones after making renovation status changes

Ensure Zone Boundary Alignment

1. Check that the zone boundary aligns precisely with the wall face containing the door
2. The zone must touch the wall surface where the door is placed
3. Remove any overlapping zones or duplicate zones in the same space
4. Verify no other elements are blocking the zone from reaching the door location
5. The edge of the Zone must align precisely with the face of the wall that the door is placed in.

Adjust Door Settings

1. Select the door and open Door Settings
2. Navigate to Door Settings > Descriptions
3. Check or uncheck Door belongs to the Zone into which it opens based on your door placement and swing direction
   
4. This setting determines which side of the door the zone association references

Verify Zone and Door Heights

1. Confirm the zone height encompasses the door placement height
2. Check that wall, door, and zone all exist within the same vertical range
3. Adjust zone height parameters if the door falls outside the zone's vertical boundaries

Update Zone Calculations

1. Go to Design > Update Zones to refresh all zone calculations
2. This command recalculates zone boundaries and associations after making changes
3. Check the door schedule again after the zone update completes
