Issue Description
Teamwork settings are fine tuned to work in adequate network conditions. In some extreme circumstances if your network connection to BIMcloud is less than optimal you may try to extend the timeout values for teamwork.
!IMPORTANT! This involves some delicate manipulation of Registry and Plist settings on your computer. We advise that only computer experts perform the following steps.
Solution
Windows - Archicad Workstation (End-user's computer):
1. Search for Regedit.exe on your computer and run it.
2. In the tree structure go to:
> HKEY_CURRENT_USER
- > Software
- - > GRAPHISOFT
- - - > ArchiCAD-64
- - - - > ArchiCAD-64 26.0.0 USA R1*
- - - - - > Teamwork
(*Replace 26 with whichever version you are using and replace USA with whichever language version you are using)
3. Double-click MaxInlinedBlobSize and change the value from 1024 to 2000000000
4. Click OK and then close the Registry Editor
5. Open Archicad and Join the Teamwork project.
6. Wait for all the Phases to complete. Phase 4 is typically the longest and depending upon the speed and amount of data being transferred it is possible it could take quite a long time to complete the transfer.
macOS - ArchiCAD Workstation (End-user's computer):
- Download and use Prefs Editor as explained here.
- Find the com.graphisoft.AC-64 26.0.0 USA v1.plist file. (Replace 26 with whichever version you are using and replace USA with whichever language version you are using)
- Scroll down to MaxInlinedBlobSize and change from 1024 to 2000000000
- Then go to File > Save and Quit Pref Editor
- Open Archicad and Join the Teamwork project.
- Wait for all the Phases to complete. Phase 4 is typically the longest and depending upon the speed and amount of data being transferred it is possible it could take quite a long time to complete the transfer.
