macOS – How to Get to “Macintosh HD”

Using Go Menu

1. Bring up Finder and click on Go at the top menu bar.
   
   
2. Then select Computer from the drop-down menu.
   
   
   
   
3. After that, open Macintosh HD from Finder.
   
   
   
4. You are now inside the root directory of your Mac.
